Greater St. Cloud Community Priorities Update
RELEASE DATE: August 01, 2012
Greater St. Cloud Community Priorities
The Initiative Foundation partnered with the Central Minnesota Community Foundation in 2011 to launch a community visioning project designed to identify key ways to improve the region's vitality. A joint grant fund has been created by the two foundations to support initial planning and short term expenses to advance priorities, leverage other resources, and increase community engagement. The 2nd Annual Community Priorities Meeting, held on February 23, 2012, had over 200 people attend and connect to one or more of the Greater St Cloud Community’s Top 10 Priorities. (download a PDF of this update) Jointly facilitated by the foundations and the St. Cloud Times, a summary of the event is available at www.sctimes.com/article/20120224/ .
