Greater St. Cloud Community Priorities Update
RELEASE DATE: August 01, 2012
Greater St. Cloud Community Priorities
The Initiative Foundation partnered with the Central Minnesota Community Foundation in 2011 to launch a community visioning project designed to identify key ways to improve the region's vitality. A joint grant fund has been created by the two foundations to support initial planning and short term expenses to advance priorities, leverage other resources, and increase community engagement. The 2 nd Annual Community Priorities Meeting, held on February 23, 2012, had over 200 people attend and connect to one or more of the Greater St Cloud Community’s Top 10 Priorities. (download a PDF of this update) Jointly facilitated by the foundations and the St. Cloud Times, a summary of the event is available at www.sctimes.com/article/20120224/.
