Tyler co-leads the Initiators Fellowship, supporting social entrepreneurs across Greater Minnesota as they launch and grow ideas that strengthen their communities. He focuses on developing training and support for Fellows, recruiting future cohorts and building partnerships that help rural entrepreneurs thrive.
Tyler joined the Initiative Foundation in March 2026. He holds degrees from Wartburg College and the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
Originally from Oelwein, Iowa, Tyler now lives in Crystal, Minnesota. He’s inspired by local changemakers and is known for building connections around a shared vision.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys time outdoors and cheering on the Twins and Vikings.
