Zach Tabatt

Zach champions the Initiative Foundation’s lending efforts and its economic development programs, including the Initiators Fellowship, Enterprise Academy, and an array of technical support initiatives to help small businesses succeed. He grew up in rural Little Falls and makes his home with his family in Baxter.

“I’m honored to support our small business and entrepreneurial community,” said Zach, who joined the Foundation team in 2019. “Our incredible team will continue to grow our services as we support new entrepreneurs, help businesses expand and prosper, and contribute to vibrant economies throughout the region.”

Zach has bachelor’s degrees from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Zach chose the nonprofit sector because he wants to serve his community. His prior career experiences—from police officer to financial advisor—have provided Zach with a range of abilities that lead him to be seen as “utility player” around the office. A fun fact about Zach is he traded in his Harley-Davidson for a minivan.
