Ismail has been with the Foundation since 2021. He was born in Somali, grew up in Kenya and now lives in St. Cloud. Ismail manages the Enterprise Academy program and enjoys being able to support early-stage entrepreneurs as they visualize and build their businesses.
“I work at the Initiative Foundation because it allows me to support and encourage entrepreneurs in their journey towards starting and growing a successful business,” said Ismail. “It’s gratifying to me because it helps entrepreneurs achieve their dreams and make a positive impact on their communities.”
Ismail has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from St. Cloud State University. In addition to English, Ismail speaks Somali, Arabic and Kiswahili.
