Zach Tabatt

Zach works with the Initiative Foundation’s growing family of hosted Partner Funds and helps people, businesses and organizations achieve their philanthropic goals. He grew up in rural Little Falls and makes his home with his family in Baxter.

“We offer a variety of ways to positively affect our region,” said Zach, who joined the Foundation in 2019. “I enjoy being helpful and seeing others accomplish their goals.”

Zach has bachelor’s degrees from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Zach chose the nonprofit sector because he wants to serve his community. His prior career experiences —from police officer to financial advisor—have provided Zach with a range of abilities that lead him to be seen as “utility player” around the office. A fun fact about Zach is he traded in his Harley-Davidson for a minivan.
